As the name suggests, this is the idea for dining on Aruba. With sounds of the ocean caressing the beach in the background, the tropical breeze through your hair and your feet in the white sand, all while enjoying great food, marvelous wines and friendly, yet professional service.
Celebrating their first anniversary, Gerco ( Head chef) and Luc ( Maitre d'), are very happy with the year that has past. Although the beginning was hard, but beginnings are hard. We are very happy the way 2011 has turned out, and would like to thank you for joining us, and returning! We are looking forward to the year that comes, hoping to welcome our guests back, serving them our signature dishes, as well as exciting week specials. We are still really glad and proud we opened Barefoot, and hope to share the joy of elegant dining in flip flops soon!
Barefoot restaurant is situated on the beach,across the street from Talk of the Town, under the large palapa, near the airport. They have tables overlooking the Caribbean Sea under a palapa, as well as seating on the beach under the stars. Barefoot is the ideal spot for a great dinner in a tropical ambiance.
The kitchen is open 7 days a week, from 5 to 10 pm, ready to spoil guests from appetizers through dessert, creating a memorable dining experience.
